Richter Pharmaceuticals is reducing its energy consumption, Hunguest Hotels is turning off its saunas, and Auchan is being frugal. The Hungarian Advertising Association is reducing the lighting of its digital advertising surfaces to a minimum during the day, and turning them off during peak hours at night. The reporting focuses on the energy crisis and the responses to it.
The load on the domestic electricity grid is stable, and consumption is more than 500 megawatts lower than expected. Large consumers have voluntarily limited their consumption to 630 megawatts.
