The gender pay gap widens as UK bosses earn 130 times the average worker's salary

According to a High Pay Centre report, the median income of FTSE 100 company CEOs reached a record high of £5.06 million in the previous financial year. This represents a 8.6% increase from the previous £4.66 million, and marks the largest difference in income between CEOs and employees in the past eight years. The CEOs of the largest publicly listed companies in the UK achieved record salaries last year.
