Ukraine is preparing for a major announcement by Ursula von der Leyen
Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, visited Kyiv, where she met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss defense cooperation between the EU and Ukraine. According to plans, the two sides will cooperate within the framework of a 6 billion euro drone cooperation, but details are not yet known. Von der Leyen will also participate in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit, where discussions will take place on the security of the region and European integration.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss the next phase of defense cooperation between the EU and Ukraine. As part of the expected €6 billion drone cooperation, the two sides would rely on each other’s expertise, but the details have not yet been disclosed.
