On Thursday, the representatives of the Tisza government held a press briefing, which was also attended by Prime Minister Magyar Péter. The cabinet made important announcements regarding the role and salary of politicians, the abolition of VAT on prescription drugs, the handling of the asbestos crisis, and investigations into asset enrichment and reports on budgetary issues. In addition, one employee of the Fidesz faction was arrested in connection with the NKA case, and the number of environmental inspections at battery factories has increased, and a criminal investigation may begin against Lázár János for illegal party financing.
