In the morning, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder will hold a joint press conference to discuss the renewed Hungarian-Bavarian relations, which have been rekindled after several years. Due to the extreme heat and the Duna River’s historically low level of 121 centimeters, the MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant has reduced the output of its second block by 50%. Due to the heat, the Ministry of Transport will also partially lift the truck ban over the weekend: heavy vehicles will be able to travel on domestic roads again on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
