The previous system is ending: important changes are coming to supported loans in Hungary.
The government has launched a comprehensive reform of the system of state support and guarantees for market lending. The package of measures, which is signed by Prime Minister Magyar Péter, aims to reduce risk and align the level of guarantees with the EU average. In addition, the Széchenyi Card program and the Magyar Fejlesztési Bank’s lending practices will be reviewed and reformed.

The government has announced a comprehensive reform of the state support and guarantee system for market lending. The package of measures, drafted by Prime Minister Magyar Péter, aimed at reducing state risk, aligning the level of guarantees with the European Union average, and transforming the financing practices of the Széchenyi Kártya program and the Magyar Fejlesztési Bank (MFB) in order to access EU funds.
