The positive mood continued on the Hungarian stock exchange, with the BUX closing in green.

The BUX index rose by 0.7 percent, and is above the 20, 50 and 200-day moving averages, indicating an upward trend. Among the blue chips, Magyar Telekom, OTP and Richter performed well, while Mol’s value decreased. In the midcap segment, Rába and Masterplast achieved 3.6 and 3.0 percent growth, respectively. OTP led the trading volume with a value of 11.7 billion forints.

Among the blue chips, Magyar Telekom, OTP, and Richter strengthened, while only Mol’s stock price declined. The midcap segment also showed optimism, with Rába and Masterplast leading the gains at 3.6 and 3.0 percent respectively. OTP generated the highest trading volume at 11.7 billion forints.
