The new glass wool factory of Masterplast is progressing nicely.
Masterplast showed growth in revenue and EBITDA for the second quarter, despite the continued challenging environment in the construction sector. The growth was mainly due to core operations and the production of glass wool in Szersz, and not due to the HEM effect. The company ended the period profitably, thanks also to hedging activities. Management, however, expects more moderate growth in the second half of the year, but expects improved operating cash flow.
Despite the still restrained construction environment, Masterplast reported growth in both revenue and EBITDA for the second quarter, compared to the level of one year ago, according to the report released this morning. The growth was mainly due to the core business, which was supported by the increase in production of the glass wool factory in Szercs. The company achieved profitability at the level of net profit, and financial transactions also helped. Although the management expects a more moderate growth rate in the second half of the year, it also expects a significant improvement in operating cash flow.
