Tell us: are you a young person in northern England who is having trouble finding employment?

In the United Kingdom, approximately 1.16 million young people aged 16 to 24 are neither employed nor in education or training (NEET). A May report warned that this number could rise to 1.25 million by the early 2030s if the government does not intervene urgently. We are particularly interested in the opinions of young people from the north of England who are seeking work or education, so we are looking for people to share their experiences.

Tell us: are you a young person in northern England who is having trouble finding employment?

We would like to hear from young people in the north of England about their experiences of looking for work. According to a report published in May, about 1 million 16- to 24-year-olds in the UK are not in employment, education, or training (Neet), and the figure could rise to 1.25 million by the early 2030s without urgent government action. We are particularly keen to hear from young people living in northern England who are not currently in work or education, or who have been struggling to find a job.
