This was announced by Velkey György László, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Péter Stumpf, a Member of Parliament, criticized the fact that Szijjártó Péter and the Fidesz party had ignored the expectations of the public during negotiations, and that the government would now seek to coordinate with foreign partners in the best interests of Hungary.
The Szeged BYD project, which involves state support of hundreds of millions and the employment of nearly ten thousand temporary workers, has been granted approval, according to newly reviewed ministry documents, as stated by Velkey György László, parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a video uploaded to his Facebook page on Monday. Szeged MP Péter Stumpf stated that the Chinese giant, along with Minister Szijjártó and the Fidesz party, had ignored the expectations of the public during negotiations, and that the Tisza government would only consult with foreign partners in the future, prioritizing Hungarian interests.
