According to data requested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 6.5 million forints in public funds were paid for Szijjártó Péter’s one-day stay in Qatar. The former foreign minister traveled to Doha during the last week of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, when the prices of luxury hotel suites, which normally cost up to 2 million forints, also increased significantly.
