Parliament has approved a budget of 13 billion for EU development projects.

The National Assembly has passed a package of three laws related to the implementation of Hungary’s recovery plan, which are important conditions for accessing the approximately 10 billion euro RRF framework. The decisions could lead to the creation of a new state-owned rolling stock management company for the purchase of new railway vehicles, accelerate energy development projects, and change several tax regulations. Only approximately 3.5–3.8 billion euros in EU funds are directly related to the transport and energy measures.
