OTP to LRT: We have not found a viable solution to leaving the Russian market.
OTP, which had reached an agreement to acquire the Baltic Luminor bank group, informed LRT that since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, it had not found a solution to leave the Russian market that would be acceptable from a legal, ethical, and economic perspective. The Hungarian bank continues to serve approximately two million customers in Russia, more than four years after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
