'I don't think I'll ever retire': Workers struggling to save for old age
Nearly half of adult residents in Brite do not save for retirement. Sarah, a 35-year-old librarian, is concerned about her future, as she has only been able to save £5,000 so far. After completing her PhD in 2020, she intended to make contributions to a pension fund, but due to her numerous part-time jobs, she never did. She did not think that any of the jobs would last long enough for her to save the intended amount.
