Hungarian research institutes are returning to the Academy, but not everyone is happy with the government's plan.
This year, the 18 research institutes, which were separated in 2019 under the auspices of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), will continue to operate again. The plans for the new structure were presented at a forum organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology (TTM), aiming for greater transparency in management. The legislation is expected to be put to public debate in September.
