Hungarian railway network to be renovated for 3.55 billion forints in the next 10 years: the Baross Gábor Railway Development Plan has been announced.
In the European Union, railway development is a priority, and Hungary is also participating in this process. The government plans to invest 3550 billion forints over the next 10 years to develop the railway network, connect cities, promote sustainability, and increase competitiveness. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Regional Development at an Miskolc railway station.
There is essentially no debate within the European Union about railway development, and Hungary is finally joining in: the government has allocated 3550 billion for the development of railways over the next 10 years, which will connect cities, be sustainable, competitive, and boost industrial production - Prime Minister Peter Magyar and Minister of Transport David Vitézy announced at a press conference on Wednesday at a railway station in Újpest.
