Gasoline sales have stopped at several Hungarian gas stations – Independent stations are in trouble
Tensions are emerging in the Hungarian fuel market, where wholesale prices are rising rapidly, while retail prices remain stagnant. This situation is particularly affecting independent gas stations, such as the Envi Group, which has suspended the sale of fuel in Dunaújváros and Székesfehérvár. The Gas ‘N Go gas station in Újszás also can only obtain fuel from Austrian imports, which is changing the survival strategies of gas stations.

Tensions are escalating in the Hungarian fuel market: wholesale prices are rising sharply, while retail prices are barely moving, putting independent gas stations in a difficult position. The Envi Group has suspended the sale of fuel at its wells in Dunaújváros and Székesfehérvár, while the Gas ‘N Go gas station in Újszászló can only obtain fuel at a much higher price from Austrian imports. Some gas stations are now focused on simply staying afloat, rather than making a profit.
