Health Minister Zsolt Hegedűs announced that the method for calculating the arrival time of ambulances will change. From now on, the arrival time will be measured from the time the emergency call is received, and the time stops when the ambulance arrives at the scene. The new statistical system, which is available on the website of the National Ambulance Service and is continuously updated in national and regional breakdowns, is already available.
They are changing the calculation of ambulance arrival times: According to Health Minister Zsolt Hegedűs, the starting point for measurement will now be the time the emergency call is received, and the clock will stop when the ambulance unit arrives at the scene. This methodology is already described in the statistics published on the website of the National Ambulance Service, and the data are made available in national and regional breakdowns, regularly updated.
