European stock markets rose, American markets closed mixed.
The week began on the markets with a positive mood, as tensions between the United States and Iran eased, with Iran indicating that it would suspend its attacks if the US also did so. This led to a decrease in oil prices and a positive start to the week for the stock markets. However, the initial rise on US stock markets soon slowed down, with technology stocks under pressure. By the end of the day, the S&P 500 closed more favorably. Germany also released its IFO economic climate index, while the US reported data on durable goods orders.

The week starts with a positive mood on the markets after the US and Iran did not attack each other in the last hours. In fact, the latter signaled that it would suspend the attacks if the US also did so. The news has led to a sharp drop in oil prices, and we have seen a rebound in Asia, but the week in Europe has started with a larger increase. American stock exchanges have also started trading upwards, but the momentum quickly faded, with technology stocks being particularly affected. As a result of the sell-off, American stock exchanges closed mixed, but the S&P 500 turned green by the end of the day. Regarding economic events, Germany received fresh data on the IFO economic sentiment index on Monday, while the US released statistics on the order backlog for durable consumer goods.
