Drought in Hungary has caused irreversible damage: a disappointing map has been published
In the first half of the week, sunny and extremely hot weather is expected, which will last for about a week. Heavy rains have occurred in the past, but due to the small amount of rainfall, the crops are starting to dry out prematurely due to heat and water stress. The heat is also negatively affecting natural vegetation, indicating that the lack of rain will worsen the situation, according to a HungaroMet analysis.
