Dávid Vitézy: Apartments with good infrastructure could be built for 1,000 euros each.

In Budapest, up to 40-50,000 apartments could be built in the existing railway rust belts, such as the Rakosrendező area, the Diákváros area, and the southern part of Kelenföld. Transport and investment minister David Vitéz emphasized that the housing crisis should be addressed not on the outskirts of the city, but on accessible, underutilized state and railway lands. The new apartments have excellent transportation links.

In Budapest, approximately 40-50,000 apartments could be built in existing railway areas, including the Rákoszentmiklós area, the Diákváros area, and the southern part of Kelenföld, which have excellent connections to the rail network. According to Transport and Investment Minister Dávid Vitézy, the housing crisis should be addressed not on the outskirts of the city, on areas without infrastructure, but on these well-connected, underutilized state and railway areas.
