Due to the low water level in the Danube, power generation at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant will be completely halted today, which is unprecedented in the plant’s 44-year history. The shutdown is taking place under controlled conditions, and the safety of the plant is guaranteed. The next five days will be particularly important in terms of meeting import needs and reducing consumption among residents and businesses.
